Long Beach City College

The main campus of Long Beach City College is located at 4901 East Carson Street, Long Beach CA 90808-1706.The Long Beach City College’s Allied Health Program is offering a Certification in Phlebotomy. The certification is offered to those who successfully complete the required coursework. It is a proof that they have successfully completed the practical and didactic experience required to apply for the California certification. After getting their certification in phlebotomy training, students must apply to a Laboratory Field Services national certifying agency that is approved by the state government. They have to pass an exam conducted by this agency and receive their certification. Chaffey College

Chaffey College’s community Education and Professional Development Department is offering a ten-week certification program in phlebotomy. This program is supplemented by the hospital internship. Students applying to this phlebotomy certification program must be over 18 years and they should have a GED or high school diploma.
